Becca grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. She did not play Frisbee in high school (unlike her younger sister, as Rach loves to remind her), instead occupying herself with soccer, softball, and science. She attended Columbia University, majoring in physics and and political science (and yes she knows that is rather weird). She didn't find Ultimate until her sophomore year and has been making up for lost time ever since. She is a lifer on DC @gritultimate, having played since its first season in 2015 and is captaining for her third year. She coaches School Without Walls and is heavily involved with youth/womxn's development in the DMV.
